Fostering Expectations
Once dog is picked up, it is your responsibility to:
- Update/create bio, dog guide, take photo, and send to Rachel Adler.
- Attend at least one adoption event each month or arrange transport to the event for your foster.
- Attend at least one foster training session each month.
- Review and return calls within 48 hours on all approved applications.
Arrange home visit and meet & greet; complete and submit home visit form (See below for a copy of the form.)
Adoption Events
Adoption events are held on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 12-3 pm. Fosters are expected to attend one adoption event each month. Lisa Adair will post the adoption event location and an attendance poll for fosters on the TPBP Volunteer Facebook Group. Please respond to the poll to let Lisa know you will be attending or if your dog needs transportation to the event.

Foster Training
We provide training support for all our foster dogs. We offer foster training sessions on the second Thursday and fourth Saturday of each month. Fosters are expected to attend one foster training session each month. An event reminder will be sent out to current fosters. Please RSVP to let us know if you can attend.
If your dog is having behavior issues, please reach out to Marc, Max, or Cindy immediately.
